A prayer for peace in unsettling times

One dynamic power, the source of all creation is present here in this very moment. Its power and presence are unmistakable as we witness the change of seasons, the plants that sprout and grow, the cycles of the moon, and the growth of children. All of these things are expressions of this intelligent source of life.

Spirit lives itself through all of its unique creations, which includes me and each one of us. Each one of us is a part of a greater fabric of all of humanity. And not only humanity we are all one with every creature, every drop of water, every wave coming onto the shore. That’s a part of us too on this beautiful planet.

I say a word of blessing that in these uncertain times we are individually anchored in peace, love, faith, and the anticipation of good to come. I hold that mental equivalent of a peaceful, loving world. I cultivate that by feeling love and peace in my own heart. And I practice the tools to be centered, grounded, anchored in spirit, leaning into that power and presence that wants to serve us good and more good. And so when the world seems overwhelming or beyond our control with conflicts on every side, I claim peace in my heart, tranquility in my mind, calm in my attitude as we face the world and share this vibration of peace and love. We may look different, just like the variety of flowers. Even from the same Zinnia seeds, a whole garden of different colored and shaped flowers is amazing. This is Spirit’s life living itself for me to behold.

With great thanksgiving, I know that this is my moment to receive the gift of this amazing life. This light, that lights my way through the darkness, sometimes too allows me to be the light for others. And with gratitude in my heart, knowing that this eternal life goes on, I can let go of old habits and ways of thinking. Anchoring myself over and over again in Spirit’s loving assignment for us - to live life fully and find joy, peace and love. I’m grateful that there’s a higher power that’s helping me do this especially during challenging times.

With a heart filled with appreciation, I release this prayer knowing it’s already accomplished. And so it is, amen.

Freedom

 
There is one Life Force ever present, loving and powerful. And at the same time this Life Force is ever creating anew. Spirit is this Life Force behind all sentient beings on this planet. Spirit is all knowing and encompasses everything.

I am one with this powerful loving presence of Spirit. Since this Life Force is everywhere present, it has to include me and every being in this world. We are all made of the same Life Force and therefore each one of us is powerful and full of life. With Spirit as my source, I am filled with this Life Force and grateful for the way it shows up in my life.

I affirm now that I feel the freedom that is mine today. As a part of this Life Force that Spirit is, I can affirm for myself all of the health, beauty and love that is my divine right as an expression of Spirit. I affirm freedom to feel grace and gratitude for my life and wellbeing.

With thanksgiving for this time to dwell in gratitude for my connection to Spirit, I can release my prayer now into the law.

And let it be. And so it is.

Abundance

There is one Life, one Love, one Power and one Presence.

It is that love and that power and that presence that is my breath; it is my heartbeat; it is my eyes that I see, it is my hands that feel, and it is the feet that allow me to walk. I am one with this power. I am one with this presence. I am one with this vitality that pulses through every cell of my body and every nerve of my body. As that is true for me this is true for everyone reading this prayer and beyond.

I claim for each of us a release of any thought of limitation, a release of any belief of lack. I affirm that we came here to live and to thrive and to be the hands and feet of Spirit itself as we mingle with the other lives of those that we love and our families. I affirm abundance in our lives. I affirm abundance in our belief in the good and the wholeness, in the vitality of spirit that lives in and through our bodies and lives in and through all of our actions of our lives. Spirit is not squashed by any thought or any action where any belief spirit continues to expand and show itself in our lives. Therefore, I claim and affirm for everyone listening to this prayer that Spirit is us, working through us. And now we hear the voice of truth telling us to arise in this situation. Arise now in our beliefs. Arise now and trust that life is moving and expanding in us now.

With great gratitude, I release my word into that law that takes our word and makes it so, is acting upon it even now. With great gratitude I released this word and I let it go.

And so it is. Amen.
